I am writing to invite you to participate in my sixth Telephone Town Hall on the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and its effect on our community.
This event will be Sunday, March 22 at 4:30 p.m.
I am holding these town halls to make experts available to answer your questions about this dangerous virus, how our public and private institutions are handling it, and what we can do as individuals to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.
My guest for this Town Hall will be Ali Mattu, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and expert on stress and its impact on our mental and physical health. Dr. Mattu will discuss steps we all can take to help ourselves and our families cope with the upheaval the Coronavirus crisis has caused in our lives, work and relationships.
There is limited capacity for this call. Those who wish to participate will need to RSVP by 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 22. A follow-up email will be sent to you with the call-in phone number and passcode.
Because of the number of participants, we will only be taking written questions for this conversation. Please submit any questions you may before or during the call to [email protected]
You may submit questions whether or not you intend to participate. A recording of the Town Hall will be available at my website at https://sd07.senate.ca.gov/ Recordings of the first five Coronavirus Town Halls are already on the site.
I know that these developments have created great stress on everyone. Thank you for taking the time to be as informed as possible so we can keep each other safe.
